The Local Rights Programme (LRP):

The Local Rights Programme (LRP) was formerly known as Partnership Against Poverty (PAP) is ENVIRUMEDIC/ActionAid Nigeria’s integrated development and community driven programme, which recognizes that the fight against poverty can only be won through unique partnership between all stakeholders, civil society, public sector and the private sector. LRP’s mission is therefore to initiate this synergy and harness it for the overall development of poor and excluded communities.The programme works in the following thematic areas: education, HIV/AIDS, Human security in conflict and emergencies, Democratic governance and Women’s right, Alternative livelihood and Climate change. Presently, ENVIRUMEDIC is working in 13 communities across three L.G.A.s in Delta State.
