ENVIRUMEDIC is born as a result of the research carried out across the rural communities of the Niger – Delta region, which revealed the high level of poverty as a result of the abrupt effects of oil pollution and environmental degradation, Climate Change, Hunger as a result of oil impact on Agriculture and food security HIV/AIDS/STIs epidemic; bribery and corruption at the high places. The organization was established in the year 2000, registered in Delta State and assumed legal status with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC),Abuja, 2007.

Where We Work
A Basic Overview Of Our Projects
We have been able to successfully work in the Niger Delta through the use of the rights based approach to development. This was done by the introduction of the use of participatory methodologies such as Reflect and Participatory Vulnerability Analysis. This participatory methodology, with our support has made these communities where we work to recognise their environment, identify their problems and tackle it. They are also empowered to analyse the challenges to development and demand for and actualise their rights.
