Public Service Advocacy

Public Service Advocacy is the Democratic Governance Team (DGT) project for advocacy and accountability strategy to promote and strengthen advocacy for and the accountability of governments to finance and provide quality and gender responsive public services. The advocacy strategy directly contributes to securing improvements in quality, equity, and gender responsiveness for people living in poverty by holding governments and corporations to account and ensuring that people win victories in achieving fair redistribution of resources to finance public policies. The advocacy and accountability strategy closely links with the tax power campaign with public service financing and provision whiling linking local to national level work. The public services advocacy and accountability strategy is focused on education, health, agriculture, social protection, and water and sanitation. This project is supported by DGT ActionAid International.
