Training on misconceptions and prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic was organized and carried out in Ughelli South, North, and Ndokwa East LGAs.

Joblessness, growing poverty, and food insecurity generated by the restrictions have made many people, especially the poor, more vulnerable to human trafficking, exploitation, and modern slavery.

The distribution of palliatives by the Federal Government to cushion the effects of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on poor and vulnerable Nigerians in parts of the country has been nothing short of chaotic.

In light of the above, two budding organizations, ENVIRUMEDIC and ActionAid Nigeria, intensified efforts to take COVID-19 Palliatives Distribution in Rice, Beans, Indomie, Groundnut Oil, Sanitary Pads, and others to communities in Delta State as part of efforts to alleviate the sufferings, occasioned by the nationwide lockdown.
